Sarah was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. She relocated to the Winnemucca area in 2009 and has lived in the Northern Nevada area since. Sarah holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Accounting and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Nevada since September of 2013.

Sarah graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in May 2022, and was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in October 2022, after passing the Nevada State Bar Exam on her first try. During her time at Mitchell Hamline, Sarah received the highest grade in a course concerning Real Estate, and was subsequently presented with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, Property: Jurisprudential and Comparative Analysis (Spring 2019). Sarah also spent one semester externing for a District Court Judge, and two semesters externing with Miller Law, Inc., to prepare for future practice.

Sarah currently holds active licenses to practice as both a CPA and attorney within the State of Nevada.

In October 2017, Sarah was one of only 38 young CPAs from across the country to be chosen by the American Institute of CPAs as a future leader of the CPA profession. She attended the AICPA’s 2017 a four-day, rigorous training program, designed to strengthen and expand the leadership skills of promising young professionals. Since completing the program, Sarah has become heavily involved in the betterment of the CPA profession, on both a state and national level. She has held positions with the Nevada Society of CPAs – as the Chair of the Northern Nevada Emerging Leaders Committee, President of the Reno Chapter Board of Directors, and Director on the State Board of Directors – as well as with the American Institute of CPAs, as a Member of the Young Member Leadership Committee. Sarah anticipates volunteering with the State Bar of Nevada in the future, in an effort to help better the legal profession in rural areas.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Sarah has provided various volunteering services to nonprofit organizations in the Northern Nevada area, including volunteering as an advocate for Winnemucca Domestic Violence Services, assisting several nonprofit organizations with fundraising activities, and providing pro bono financial and legal services when warranted. Sarah has a passion for helping others in any way that she can, and genuinely enjoys helping both individuals and business owners make sense of challenging financial and legal topics.

In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her two children and three dogs. You can regularly find them playing outside, going on adventures and travelling, and building LEGOs.
