She also completed a semester externship with a District Court Judge and two semesters with Miller Law, Inc., gaining valuable experience for her future practice.

Sarah is currently licensed to practice as both a CPA and an attorney in the State of Nevada.

In October 2017, Sarah was one of 38 young CPAs nationwide selected by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) as a future leader of the profession. She attended the AICPA’s four-day leadership training program, designed to develop and strengthen the skills of promising young professionals. Since completing the program, Sarah has been actively involved in advancing the CPA profession at both state and national levels. She has served as Chair of the Northern Nevada Emerging Leaders Committee, President of the Reno Chapter Board of Directors, and Director on the State Board of Directors for the Nevada Society of CPAs. She also served on the AICPA’s Young Member Leadership Committee. Sarah plans to volunteer with the State Bar of Nevada to help improve legal services in rural areas.

Beyond her professional work, Sarah is dedicated to her community. She has volunteered with various nonprofit organizations in Northern Nevada, including Winnemucca Domestic Violence Services, where she served as an advocate. She has also assisted several nonprofits with fundraising efforts and has provided pro bono financial and legal services when needed. Sarah is passionate about helping others and enjoys guiding individuals and business owners through complex financial and legal matters.

In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her two children and three dogs. You’ll often find them playing outside, going on adventures, traveling, or building LEGO creations together.
